Tsunami of photos

Pleasant day it was, but it was scorching so damn hot I perspired so much. Serve me right for putting a scarf hur, haha. So I met Sandra and off we head to CLARKE QUAY! I was anticipating much for the event @fashionbar (fbar) But before we head over there I was craving for icecream (yes, again) so we hunt over at The Central first and bought them from the Azabu Sabo outside of The Central, facing the oh-so-beautiful river.

They have MANY flavours. I always wanted to try exotic flavours but the usuals always prevented me to do so. I picked Dark Chocolate (It was glowing at me, haha) & her’s was Tofu flavour (I guess pretty much taste like soybean) but guess what. the moment we hit out to the sun, disaster strikes. Dark brown fluid was flowing down my hands. DAMNIT, the ice cream is so vulnerable than I thought it was! like a vampire to the sun ( reminds me of Twilight (: ). but still we manage to snap one shot of us with the ice cream, you can see the “omg, lets do this quick & the wind is driving my hair nuts” kind of expression, laughs. I was struggling trying to keep my hair was coming in touch with my ice cream, especially when it’s long, its hard. Nonetheless, it was super delicious! VERY SMOOTH. not the dry on the throat kind, but rather soothing. & the ice cream cone taste super crunchy despite the sad state the ice cream was already. perhaps on of the most terrible icecream eating experience ever, but it was nice still. Because of the wind by the river, and the colourful buildings across the river, and the atmosphere, it’s hard to find it a torment actually

So we struggled through the sun to The Cannery. Just a short walk, not as long as I was expecting it to be. Fbar turns out to be really, really pretty! Black wordings on clear glass with long strands of glass beads. VERY INVITING. how fashion it was, haha. The setting inside was extremely our kind of love. Oh wait, the best was the air condition. I was drying from dehydration already! thankgod. So continuing, the interior looks super hot. The walls were of silver cushion (veryy nice) and the luxurious-looking huge sofas, silver and hot pink was a hella attractive ones. However I think the area is rather small, maybe cause I didn’t wander around the area, hmmm. alright, the event was good, not excellent though. The guest hosts was too funny. Very Gay, Very Hilarious. The whole event ended around 5pm.

We went walking around The Cannery after that. oh wow, I was surprised and how… NICE it was over there. at 5, it was a nice weather, cooling with a breeze. So I spotted Haagen dazs! OMG. irresistible.

 

 

So I went in to get ice cream again, lols. I was looking for dark chocolate flavour, but apparently there wasn’t any. Then I realised, yeah, haagen dazs doesn’t have dark chocolate in their tubs. So I chose cookie chocolate. yes, chocolate flavour again & on cone! well, the it was okay only. I should have chosen my usual Coffee flavour! hmmm, nevermind.

Oh, and man, I have to go about how inviting the shop was. Especially the man tending it. I wanted to do takeaway, I left, just right out the door, but turned back in (haha) after thinking bout how nice the place was. Then, I realised how having a good… erm, sales person, or rather, getting the right man for the job is so important to business. He’s in his late20s i guess, very late I think, and really humorous. The kind he doesn’t do on purpose, just unknowingly. So that humoured me much. Real friendly too! You know, this kind is dangerous, especially for me who.. is rather.. into this kind of people, get what I mean? more like friendly shopkeepers,haha. So I probably WILL drop by clarke quay now & then, since you know too that I’m on vacation!! SUPER ENJOYING IT. haha. yes, and most like, very likely in fact, go to eat icecream over there again (: Interior was nice. I wished it was more orange-y & darker like it is in my photos (I set the colour mode), but nonetheless, still not bad! THEN, IT WAS A CRAZY FUN TIME OF PHOTO-SNAPPING.

I was in the right mood for snapping photos I think. So you see those NOT normal kind of… ‘poses’.. i suppose you can call it that way (: It happens rarely. only when my mood is super good, then it gets this way. HAHA. otherwise it is just the normal smile smile kind, laughs.

Then I met her in the night again. She’s passing me her handmade kimchi. & it’s pretty good! I like. And just a short little while chat in her car. NICE. I like, very much, chatting in the car like that, I realised. It helps that we were both in our usual Taf Instructor PE tees & shorts. seems like we are ready to go running anytime! haha (:
